Virtual International Conference
– December 2026

Haiti Nexus invites the community to its second international conference, to be held in December 2026, showcasing the latest research and innovations by Haitian scholars and researchers. This interdisciplinary event will feature presentations and discussions in the following fields:
- Agriculture & Life Sciences 
-Economics & Business
- Engineering & Technologies
- Social Sciences & Humanities
- Medical Sciences

The conference will offer keynote speeches, panel discussions, and networking opportunities, allowing participants to engage with cutting-edge research and forge meaningful collaborations.

Poster Competitions
– October 2026

Leading up to the conference, Haiti Nexus will host a series of virtual poster competitions in October 2026. These competitions provide an excellent platform for students, professionals, and researchers to present their work visually and engage in academic discussions across various fields:
- Agriculture & Life Sciences 
-Economics & Business
- Engineering & Technologies
- Social Sciences & Humanities
- Medical Sciences

Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their research, receive feedback from esteemed judges, and win prizes for their work.

Three-Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition
– August 2026

In August 2026, Haiti Nexus will hold a Three-Minute Thesis (3MT) competition, challenging graduate students to present their research concisely and engagingly. Participants will have just three minutes to explain their thesis or research project, making complex ideas accessible to a broad audience. This competition is an exciting opportunity for young scholars to hone their communication skills and share their research with the world.

These events are designed to foster academic growth, promote networking, and celebrate Haitian researchers' contributions across multiple disciplines. Abstracts and Bio of speakers at our first virtual conference -December 2025

Haïti Nexus in December 2025 brought together 16 Haitian researchers from across the globe, spanning the US, Canada, Belgium, Ireland, Brazil, and Japan, for a virtual conference series covering agricultural sciences, social sciences, and medical engineering. Presentations ranged from biodiversity metrics and agroecology to seismic risk reduction, AI in scientific writing, and health data accessibility for the elderly.
