Haiti Nexus, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing and making research in and about Haiti accessible to all. The organization provides an open-access platform for theses, dissertations, and journals, organizes academic competitions and events, and promotes literacy through adult alphabetization programs. By becoming a member, you contribute to strengthening academic visibility, supporting literacy initiatives, and building a global network of Haitian and international scholars. Haiti Nexus offers two categories of membership. Student membership is open to undergraduate and graduate students and requires an annual fee of $20, while professional membership is open to researchers, educators, and professionals from any discipline with an annual fee of $50. Members have access to Haiti Nexus programs, webinars, and training workshops. They are eligible to serve on committees, participate in decision-making, contribute to Haiti Nexus journals, and have priority access to mentorship and collaboration opportunities. Members are also encouraged to actively participate in literacy and community engagement projects. Members are expected to uphold the mission, values, and code of conduct of Haiti Nexus, support its programs through participation and volunteerism when possible, and maintain good standing by paying annual dues.
